A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing this new sweet and super squishy baby boy! Look at all that SQUISH! Gahhh I am a sucker for baby rolls. I mean, and look at his BRF!!! I can related buddy.
He was an excellent sleeper for his session and we were able to get some adorable images for his family. He even got to pose for his first pictures with his BIG brother, who is very proud to have a new baby brother.
His momma loved our neutral set-ups and the clean timeless look that we selected for his session. When styling newborn sessions we are very intentional about what we select. Will it coordinate with your home decor? Will you still love these in 20 years? Is each images consistent with the next? After all we only except the absolute best for each and every one of our loving clients.
Somehow I missed blogging this sweet baby’s newborn session! I am SO sorry baby!!! This precious baby girl came into my studio in December so it was only right we incorporated some Christmas Cheer! Check out her little cocoa mug <3 <3
Mom loves purple so I made sure to incorporate some as well…she DOES look good in purple!! I just loved her little squishy rolls and her red hair!
Double the diapers, double the fun! I had an absolute blast photographing this adorable newborn twin session! You may remember this beautiful couple from their maternity session a few weeks ago, well the babies are HERE! I probably don’t have to tell you but, They. Are. Perfect.
Planning this session was SO fun, these two were my first boy/girl twins since 2012!! Not only did i get to select items for a girl and a boy but I got to coordinate little outfits for them both…gahhhh so cute!!
I typically only take on 1-2 twin newborn sessions a year so when I do have them I call in reinforcements. My fellow newborn photographer Brittany from Baby Mine Photography came up from Orlando for the day to lend a helping hand and lend a snuggle.
Here is a flashback for ya! Back to 2012 to my first set of twins…aren’t they adorable?? I would say my posing has come a long way. If you’re just stating out or want to improve your newborns, invest in in resign mentoring, it’ll change your world. 🙂
What can I say about the Trainor family? I mean besides the obvious adorableness! I have had the privilege of watching them blossom from a young couple anticipating the arrival of there first child to a beautiful family of four!
Their faces say it all…pure happiness.
But, how could you not be happy raising these two adorable little fellas?
This adorable and squishy baby girl was in the studio a few weeks ago! Is there really anything better than a squishy baby?????
She made me work HARD for these shots, but I am ridiculously patient. Babies…fair warning, I ALWAYS win!! Lol.
I really love how these images turned out.
When I made the decision to eliminate bold colors in my prop stash and use only neutrals I KNEW I was going to love it!!!! What a timeless, classic gallery this lucky momma gets. 🙂 I want to have them in MY house!
Serious props to her big brother, he was so well behaved and really set the bar for sibling shots!
If you are expecting, make sure you book BEFORE you deliver. We are almost booked for the year. It makes me sad to turn people away because we are booked and they didn’t book ahead of time.
When my sister told me she was expecting her second child, I knew the reveal session would have to be amazing!! Hours of brainstorming and scouring Pinterest looking for inspiration and I just kept seeing the same things over and over. I wanted to do something unique and fun for this reveal.
While bouncing ideas back and forth and playing with different sayings one day while on the phone with my dear sis, the phrase “Summer is coming to an end. But…soon I’ll have a brand new friend” popped out of my mouth! Guess all that rhyming in First grade pays off!
It was only fitting that we had a pool and summer themed reveal because Little Mr. B has recently become obsessed with his boogie board…so the planning and session design began to make this vision come true!
I am so happy with how it turned out! We also tried out a new way to reach you guys with our first FaceBook Live video…it was a lot of fun! I hope you were able to log in a watch the process. If not you can Check it out here! here! I look forward to offering more in the future.
I am always asked how long my sessions are…well they aren’t timed. This session lasted about 9 minutesstart to finish. YES you really can get amazing pictures in less than 10 minutes!! You have to plan ahead and go in with a specific vision and a plan…and a backup plan, just in case!
Little ones are not going to cooperate for an hour long session so why waste your precious time by promising a certain number of minutes. Instead, we promise you high quality images, regardless of how long it takes.
So if you are a little put off that we don’t offer sessions by the half hour and hour, that’s why. We take the time that’s needed to get the images you will love….10 minutes or 45….whatever it takes.
I was stoked when I got the news that this family was expecting baby number 2! I had the pleasure of photographing their first. I always love when I get to share in the excitement of a growing family. This time around the L family welcomed a bouncing baby boy.
Because sometimes adjusting to life as a family of four can be hectic they opted for a lifestyle session this time around. I love the crisp, clean look that the black and white give to the lifestyle session images. Normally lifestyle sessions don’t include posed images, but this little guy was just too darn cute, I couldn’t help myself! Plus who can resist a baby in a bear hat!?!
Big sisters studio newborn session from February 2014 🙂
I have had the honor of photographing the Z family since little mister’s newborn session. This Momma shares my love of photos and makes sure to schedule family photos each year. In the summer we usually start planning the next session for their family so they are sure to get updated portraits for their home and of course some in time for holiday cards.
This year I got to see them a little earlier then normal, as Daddy will be gone on deployment for the next 11 months. I, admittedly, had a difficult time trying to “keep it together” preparing for this session….being an Army wife myself I know how hard deployments can be. I knew I had to get these portraits perfect for them…so I scoured the internet for inspiration, spent hours chatting with Mom discussing details and sharing ideas…..every Pinterest board and planning session left me a sniffling mess.
In the end we opted for a traditional family portraits instead of pre-deployment style photos and I am happy to report I held it together for the session…lol. I hope that when they are missing one another that they can look to these photos and remember the giggles and happiness shared this day and look forward to making new memories when Daddy gets home.
Be safe and come home quick.
We are so very thankful for your sacrifice Z family.
